FEAR

CREATE FAIRYTALES... FEAR

The word that we live enough and speak less about – FEAR! This is one of the two words that exists n the language of soul. I do not quite remember my fist ever encounter with this word FEAR, but only over a period of time, I realized I have accumulated enough of it in me. It is sufficient enough to understand, acknowledge and embrace it, to learn to let it go.

Fairy tales are just not for kids. As we grow up, we forget what Alexandre Dumas once said, “Happiness is like those palaces in the fairy tales whose gates are guarded by the dragons: we must fight in order to conquer it”. A child’s fantasized dangers are realities for grown- ups. It’s time to go back and start believing in these fairy tales than reinforcing these illusionary dangers.

While we may choose to believe in the chaos around us, the social conditioning rooting more from panic than harmony, there are few who believe the other way round. It is true as said by Umberto Eco, “Nothing gives a fearful man more courage than another’s fear”. Today a significant part of the society thrives and builds another from – the fright of things not going right. However, I believe this can be changed.

Marianne Williamson, an internationally acclaimed spiritual author and lecturer says, ‘Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learned here’. And what is learned can always be unlearned for something better. This voyage becomes more interesting as I embark with nothing more than enthusiasm to unlearn, zeal to learn something better and in time embrace the other word in this language of soul…. Love!

The easiest way to fight Fear is to go back and start believing in those fairy tales. Today I see Fear as this very opportunity to further create one beautiful fairy tale in this life, with episodes of adventures and thrills….

Let the Hero Arise… The Hero that lies in You and in Me!!!!
